Supper Club Southern Style

October 2009 brought us another fine meal hosted by Carol Ann and Brett soon to be the Soltz (es)

Southern was the food to be this round and let me say, if you're having Southern, you want Southern folk cooking it for you. Paula Deene has nothing on CA!

We just got back from a wonderful weekend with the family. Here are some pictures from the birthday celebration. We enjoyed great food, good times, and laughter with the family. It was so nice to see everyone.

Bountiful Harvest

As summer draws to a close, I find myself with more tomoatoes than I can handle. After some encouragement from Tonya Sue and my sis I decided that yes, "SO Cal" I am going to can.
The great thing about this is that we can enjoy our wonderful fruits this winter. We ended up with 10 jars of lovely tomato delight. Borat might say "Success!" Can't wait for next year.
